Year 2005 has seen commissioning of our new Sugar Plant. This project is comprising of total crushing capacity of 14,000 tons per day. Initially it shall operate at 10000-12000 tons per day capacity which is expected to extend up to 14,000 tons per day in 2008-2009.

It is located adjacent to the ghee mills near Chiniot. The project stands on about 75 Acres of freehold land acquired by the management. This site was chosen by the management as approximately 50000 acres of land is being cultivated for sugar cane crop in and around chiniot. Cane is being supplied to mills as far as 300 km away from chiniot. There are no sugar mills in tehsil chiniot at the moment. Therefore management decided to avail this opportunity and launch a sugar mill in this area.

Plant of the project consists of mill house, boiler house, power house and process house. Plant has been procured from four sources namely import from china, U.K, heavy mechanical complex, local vendors and own fabrication.

This venture will not only diversify the current portfolio but also provide some significant cost reduction in power usage in ghee mills as well.
